As part of my research work, I have taken photos of many Guiding magazines. As the archives are becoming less accessible, I’m taking the opportunity to include these on the website. I will gradually be adding images to the page as I can – it will take time.
Apologies for the quality of images – these were snaps taken for research purposes rather than quality scans of pages – but I nevertheless hope they will be helpful. There are some magazines I have yet to access, some of the magazines had sections missing where pictures or articles had been cut out, or pages missing – if you can fill gaps then I’d welcome images being forwarded. At this stage I am only adding the Leader magazines – Girl Guides’ Gazette, The Guider, Guiding – who knows, perhaps in future it may in future be possible for me to add the Guide, Ranger and Trefoil Guild magazines.
